Wet dumplings

Here are more pictures of the kids, especially Joshua, enjoying a dip in the pool. Of course, me and Irene have to be holding on to them....Joshua seems to think he can swim, just because he can kick in the water.

But he has fun. Samantha enjoys a dip too but perhaps not to the extent of Joshua.

Samantha's interest centres around food, as you can see:)

Shanghai dumplings

I made my first trip ever to China last July. It was to Shanghai.
Tried the supposedly world famous Shanghai 'pau' at the most famous and popular outlet. All the shop sold was Shanghai pau and nothing else!

Did some sight seeing, especially at Shanghai Bund (beach). Also did some shopping at the culture and arts center.

Worth doing a trip there for those who have not been to China. Came away with mixed feelings about the city. On the one hand it is super huge, with lots and lots of high rises, but the mentality of the city folks are very much rooted in kampung behaviour eg spitting and walikng aroung without their shirts on!

My little Dumplings

This is my first venture into cyberspace. With this blog, I hope to share the growing up adventures of my two little 'wontons' with the rest of the family.

Why do I call them wontons? Well each of them is 'one tan', are they not?

But they are also small little dumplings that are so tasty and fun ...and so oriental.

Anyway, here are some pix of my little dumplings, growing up..hopefully, not too fast.
